EU-wide platform for testing and pre-deployment of CCAM - working group on cybersecurity & data

Many thanks to all of you who have attended the working group on cybersecurity and data last week as ad hoc member or who forwarded the invitation to another representative of the project to participate to the discussions.

 

In order to disseminate the follow-up information to the right persons and to establish a list of participants for the next session could you please let us know if the project is participating in this working group.

 

The list of invited projects is mentioned below. We would appreciate if you could indicate max one person per project and send us their contact details (email address) preferably by the end of the week.

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

 

The European Commission has set up an informal group of experts, the Single Platform for open road testing and pre-deployment of cooperative, connected, automated and autonomous mobility (CCAM). The objective is to integrate existing fora at EU-level dedicated towards coordinating CCAM research, testing, piloting, and pre-deployment activities and develop an EU agenda for testing.

 

A selection of the platform members has been done following the call for interest. Given your expertise in the field of  CCAM testing activities, particularly in the area of cybersecurity and/or data we would like to invite you to participate as an ad hoc expert to the upcoming meeting of the working group 5: Cybersecurity and access to in-vehicle data linked to CCAM. The meeting is taking place on 9 September in Brussels from 13:30 to 17:00. Please note that the travel costs are covered by the participants.

 

By participating to this working group meeting you will have an opportunity to meet with other high-level experts from a broad range of CCAM related fields and contribute to the discussion on large-scale testing and pre-deployment activities in Europe. The status of an ad hoc expert implies an invitation to this specific meeting, however there is a possibility to become a regular observer by applying to the attached call (https://ec.europa.eu/transport/modes/road/news/2019-02-26-call-applications-single-platform_en).

 

This invitation is being sent to Projects Coordinators. Should you wish to be represented by another project team member please feel free to forward him/her this invitation.
